Clothing Banks

An estimated £140 million worth of used clothing goes to waste every year - that's around 350,000 tonnes.

These clothes fill up landfill sites, raise greenhouse gas emissions, and harm the environment.

But there is a way to put your unwanted clothes to better use.

Clothing banks are organised collection points for clothing donations. They provide an easy way for people to donate unwanted clothing items to those in need.

Clothing banks are an environmentally friendly way to keep clothing out of landfills.

The collected clothing you donate is sorted and distributed to people who cannot afford to purchase new clothing. Everything that can be resold is sent to shops and markets all over the world. Every item is reused or recycled, helping us lessen our impact on the environment while raising money to support The National Kidney Federation projects throughout the UK.
